Do you desire a deeper and richer prayer life?
Have you ever wanted to hang out with people who know how to pray?
You're in a wonderful place then. Sadly, many stay just there. They never move from desire into discipline into delight. You don't need to read all the books on prayer in order to pray, but chances are, you, like many other believers, are missing out on an old secret. God not only communicates to us with the Scriptures; God also shows us how to communicate back in response with the very same Word.
Read and Pray the five books of the Psalms! Yes, there are actually five books within the one Book of Psalms. You'll notice very soon that they're not the kind of prayers you've been taught or even been "allowed" to say! In fact, 70% of them are laments, prayers that cry out to God with tough questions (the most basic of them being, "Where are you, God?")
Start off by "overhearing" them, but then move into being heard with them, by them. Let them become your own prayers, for the world, for your loved ones, enemies, and yourself.
